Our Ministries

At Valleyview Community Church, we strongly believe that the church body is a family.  Any healthy family greatly desires and enjoys time spent with each other.  We read in Acts 2:42-47 that the early church made it a habit of meeting together to study the Scriptures, share meals with one another, provide for those in need, and worship the Lord together.

In the Spirit of the church in Acts, we offer a number of ministries as a means of building bridges into the community, maintaining fellowship, and growing in the Lord together as a family.

CHURCH LIBRARY

Our church library, which is well maintained and operated by Alida Martin & Shirley Tye,has something for everyone, with over 2,000 titles to choose from.

Topics include: Novels; spiritual growth; biographies; health; financial guidance; family matters; DVDs; CDs; reference books (commentaries, Bible dictionaries, et cetera); sermons & teaching resources from Valleyview Community Church and other churches.

LIFE GROUPS
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
- Hebrews 10:23-25

Jesus came to give life in fullness and abundance.  The life of Christ is meant to be lived and nurtured in love-centered relationships.  In essence we are created to do life together.

And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.  - Deuteronomy 6:6-7 (NLT)
